No real measuring, no special ingredients, and it makes cookies that even the snobbiest cookie connoisseur will crave? It might seem too good to be true, but it's absolutely real.

I started this column about five times over the weekend. It’s now Monday, 8 AM, and I’m starting it for a sixth time.

What could taste better than a sleeve of Thin Mints pulled from the freezer for a mouthful of cool, minty goodness? How about a tray of Thin-Mints-flavored brownies pulled from the oven for a mouthful of gooey, warm, minty goodness?

As we move ahead in life, some people will need some help in the kitchen. Also, some people just need help in the kitchen regardless.

Thin Mints are my favorite. They’ve ALWAYS been my favorite. I would hide a sleeve in our freezer as a kid, and wait for my brothers to leave the house so I could eat them in peace. As an adult, not much has changed. I look forward to that time of year when Girl Scout cookies make winter doldrums bright again.

The thing is, I’m not a mom. I’m not even a trendy lifestyle blogger. I’m a 19 year old with my whole life ahead of me. In this century, I have so much more freedom to choose what I want to do with that life.
