The best part about Halloween is having free rein to dress a little whimsically and spooky all month long. Let's all dress like every day is Halloween!

And that's when it hit me: It's okay for girls to aspire to be like boys, but it's categorically not okay for boys to aspire to be like girls.

We live in the over-information age, and food is no exception. ...Halloween has transformed from dressing up as scary ghouls and goblins into a time to dress up in culturally insensitive costumes. Throughout the night, you will inevitably see someone dressed up like a “Mexican” with a poncho and sombrero.

We all have that one friend who reuses the same cat ears every Halloween.

‘Tis the season to be scary, but not everyone is partial to guts, gore, or things that go bump in the night. If you can’t stand the sight of chainsaw-wielding maniacs or hate, hate, hate jump scares, don’t fret!
