Pina Sadar is pursuing a PhD in socio-cultural anthropology at Durham University with her research focusing on British Muslim women and veiling. She is active in various media and civil society initiatives and has been involved in projects with a number of international institutions, such as the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Council of Europe and the United Nations.
