An Oakley Hall scholar (Squaw Valley Fiction Writers’ Conference 2008), her award-winning plays have been performed at San Diego Actors Alliance festivals. She is a frequent invited speaker on international "Women in Science" panels in universities, colleges and other women's organizations. She is currently working on her memoir-in-linked essays, titled, Tall Poppy: How Fierce Outliers Made Me Hatke.
