Lara N. Dotson-Renta, PhD is a scholar of Spanish and French literature and Cultural Studies, as well as an editor, translator, and freelance writer. She is currently completing a book of narrative nonfiction that traces the history of Puerto Rico through family narratives and shared experiences of womanhood.
